No franchise badge, no head office, no call centre. First 4 Carz has traded as a limited company from Weydown Road in Haslemere since 2016, and it is still run day to day by its two directors.
The garage
Unit 7, Weydown Road
We are on the Weydown Road Industrial Estate, a couple of minutes from Haslemere High Street and the station. The building holds one MOT testing bay and three service ramps, which is enough to keep MOTs, servicing and repair work moving in parallel rather than queueing behind each other.
Roger and Peter are the company's two directors — both appointed when the limited company was incorporated in October 2016 — and both are here rather than in an office somewhere. If you ring during the day you are speaking to someone who can see your car.
We deliberately stay a Haslemere garage. We are not trying to cover half of Surrey, and we would rather be the garage a few hundred local drivers keep coming back to than a name on a map.

How we work
Three habits we do not break

Ring us or email
Call 01428 654470 and you'll speak to someone in the workshop, not a call centre. Tell us the registration and what the car's doing and we'll find you a slot — same day where we can.

A price before the work
We look the car over and quote you before anything starts, in plain English. If we find something else on the ramp, you get a phone call and a price — you decide, not us.
03
Wait, borrow or let us collect
Sit in the waiting room with the free Wi-Fi, take the courtesy car, or ask us to collect the car and drop it back. Whichever suits your day.
